In the first half of March, the air quality in most parts of the country was mainly good to mild pollution. The possibility of regional severe pollution is relatively small, and due to the influence of dust and floating dust, there may be sustained moderate or above pollution in some areas of southern Xinjiang.
Beijing Tianjin Hebei and surrounding areas: In the first half of March, the air quality in the northern region was mainly good to mild pollution, while in the central and southern regions it was mainly mild to moderate pollution, with PM2.5 being the primary pollutant. On the 1st, some cities in central and southern Hebei may experience short-term severe pollution; From July 7th to 9th, some cities may experience severe pollution.
Beijing: In the first half of March, the air quality was mainly excellent, with PM2.5 being the primary pollutant. From the 6th to the 8th and from the 13th to the 15th, the diffusion conditions will deteriorate, and mild to moderate pollution may occur.
Yangtze River Delta region: In the first half of March, the air quality in the central and northern parts of the region was mainly good to mild pollution, while in the southern part it was mainly excellent, with PM2.5 being the primary pollutant.
Fenwei Plain: In the first half of March, the air quality in most parts of the region was mainly good to mild pollution, with PM2.5 or PM10 being the primary pollutants. Among them, from the 1st to the 3rd, there may be floating dust weather in the northern part of the region due to the influence of sand and dust transport; Moderate pollution may occur in some areas from the 6th to the 9th and from the 13th to the 15th.
Northeast region: In the first half of March, the air quality in most parts of the region was mainly good to mild pollution, with PM2.5 being the primary pollutant. Among them, there may be moderate pollution in some areas of southwestern Heilongjiang and central western Liaoning from the 1st to the 3rd.
South China region: In the first half of March, the air quality in most parts of the region was mainly excellent, with PM2.5 or ozone being the primary pollutants. Among them, from the 4th to the 5th and from the 10th to the 12th, the northern part of the region experienced good to mild pollution; From the 13th to the 15th, the weather will become calm and stable, the temperature will rise, and there may be moderate ozone pollution in some areas.
Southwest region: In the first half of March, the air quality in most parts of the region was mainly excellent, with PM2.5 being the primary pollutant. Among them, on the 6th to 7th, 9th to 10th, and 14th to 15th, PM2.5 gradually accumulated in the Chengdu Chongqing urban agglomeration, with some cities experiencing good to mild pollution.
Northwest region: In the first half of March, the air quality in most parts of the region was mainly good to mild pollution, with PM2.5 or PM10 being the primary pollutants. Among them, from the 1st to the 3rd, due to strong winds, there may be dust or floating dust weather in the northern part of the region; Moderate pollution may occur in the Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province from the 6th to the 9th and from the 13th to the 15th.
